After the great feat of Francesco’s solidarity pedal ride, which ended less than two months ago, we start again with sport and Isla ng Bata, together with many of his supporters, will take part in the thirtieth edition of the Rome Marathon. Given the great participation of our volunteers last year, this year we decided to give each and every one the opportunity to start a personal fundraising campaign through the Rete del Dono platform. All together, the campaigns will contribute to the one shared goal: involving as many people as possible to support our activities for the children of the Philippines.
This year we have great news: Isla ng Bata will be part of the Associations included in the charity program of the Rome Marathon on March 15 and 16, 2025!
The Rome Marathon has become a tradition for Isla, in which year after year more and more people participate, supporting the girls we welcome in the Family Home also through sport. An event that this year will gather millions of people and that will coincide with the 30th anniversary of the Marathon itself.
But how can you participate in the Rome Marathon 2025 and support Isla ng Bata?
By participating in the Stracittadina Fun Run or the Relay Race, part of the participation fee can be donated to the association’s projects and to support the girls we welcome in Family Home.
Do you want to take part in this important sporting event with us? Here’s how:
- You can take part in the Stracittadina Fun Run, a walk of about 5 km through the streets of Rome, donating part of the fee to Isla’s projects and receiving your marathon kit directly from us.
- You can form a relay team or join one of those in formation and run one of the four stages of the route. Part of the registration fee will be donated to support the girls we welcome in the Family Home.
- You can take part in the Rome Marathon and become our testimonial with your personal fundraising.
- If you are part of a company and want to involve your colleagues in a moment of corporate volunteering, contact us and form your personal team.
Furthermore, starting this year, every runner will be able to become our exceptional testimonial, launching their own fundraising campaign and advertising it in person, through their own updates and testimonials to all contacts.
